Whether you’re a solo cyclist or riding as part of a team, this event is perfect for anyone with a sense of adventure and a passion for making a difference. With the right training and support, this challenge is achievable for riders of all fitness levels.
How Fit Do I Need to Be?
This is a challenging endurance ride, but with the right training, it’s totally doable. You’ll be riding up to 120 miles a day, so we recommend building up your cycling stamina and aiming to maintain an average speed of 14mph. Training tips and group training weekends are available via the Sikh Helpline.
Accommodation
You’ll be staying in local Sikh Gurdwaras each night. All accommodation will include washing and drying facilities. Sleeping arrangements will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own sleeping bag if preferred.
Equipment & Kit
Participants must supply their own road bike, which must be in good working order and recently serviced. A full kit list will be shared after registration. Basic tools, spares, and pumps will be available, and additional gear can be stored in support vehicles.
